2005, 8mm and 16mm transferred to HD, 82 mins
In the opening scene of this feature film, a woman comes out of a refrigerator, crawls across the floor, opens the heating vent and discovers her own corpse. From this crisis point, Sugar tracks a journey into the vertiginous realms of the mind. Dissolving the parameters between reality and psychosis, dream and delusion, the arresting performance from the artist Samara Golden ensures that this is a dark journey into the unconscious realms of nightmare and inner despair.
